About this report

Regulatory context

Mutua Universal’s Sustainability Report for the financial year from 1 January to 31 December 2025 aims to provide information on the company’s most significant social, environmental and governance impacts.

This report has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards. It sets out the organisation’s economic and financial information as well as the key aspects of Mutua Universal’s corporate social responsibility for the 2025 financial year, and explains the sustainability context and how the organisation contributes to local, regional and global development through the company’s management of its corporate social responsibility.

The Corporate Governance Report includes non-financial information in accordance with Law 11/2018 of 28 December on non-financial information and diversity, and, consequently, is incorporated into Mutua Universal’s management report (covering the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025).

Principles that govern the report and the report drafting process

Mutua Universal has drawn up this annual report in accordance with the principles of the Global Reporting Initiative, which ensure the quality of the report, so as to enable stakeholders and users of the information to assess and make informed decisions concerning the organisation’s impacts.

The content of the report has been defined in accordance with the principles of accuracy, balance, clarity, comparability, completeness, sustainability, timeliness and verifiability. Mutua Universal endorses the materiality analysis carried out in 2025 and uses it as a basis for its own work.

  • The report has been reviewed internally by Mutua Universal’s management team and the heads of the departments that provided the information in order to ensure it is clear and complete.
